Pet Appreciation Week

Pet Appreciation Week runs from 6–12 June 2021 and offers pet owners the perfect excuse to help make our loving and loyal pets feel extra appreciated for all that they bring to our lives. Here are some ideas to make the most of the week with your pet!


Pet travel abroad

If you are planning on travelling abroad with your pet cat, dog or ferret, please be aware of the changes to pet travel since the UK left the European Union in January 2021.

GB-issued pet passports are no longer valid and you will need an appointment with your pet at the vet for an Animal Health Certificate.


RSPCA Assistance Scheme

Two By Two Veterinary Centre is the location for the provision of RSPCA Finchley, Golders Green, Hendon and District Branch veterinary services. Clinics are held on Tuesdays 10:30am-12 noon and Thursdays 4:30pm -6pm.

On Monday 29 March 2021, Two by Two Veterinary Centre resumed normal hours and service following the Covid-19 Lockdown in England. Our usual hours are:
Mornings: 9am-12:30pm
Evenings: 4pm-7pm


Covid-19 (Coronavirus) Update

During the England lockdown, Two by Two Veterinary Centre is open and operating an appointment-only service. Our revised opening hours from 6 January 2021 – 28 March 2021 are 9am-12:30pm Monday-Friday.

Pet-proofing your home is one of the most important aspects of keeping your dog safe and healthy. Here we have listed some everyday, household items that could be poisonous if they come into contact with your pet, either through eating or drinking, inhaling or skin contamination.

If your pets have been your best friends during lockdown, then you might be looking for ways to give them an extra special tasty treat. 




Please exercise extreme caution and take individual responsibility when visiting the practice and do not enter if you feel at all unwell. If a member of staff becomes ill with coronavirus and all staff have to self-isolate, the practice will have to close.  (more…)
