Prescription Requirements
Some flea and worming products are prescription-only medicines. To prescribe these products, a veterinary surgeon must be satisfied that your pet is under their care and that the medication remains appropriate for their current health status.
This means your pet may require periodic health checks before further supplies can be authorised. In most cases, this requirement is met during your pet’s routine annual health check or vaccination appointment.
Membership of Ark Essentials does not remove the requirement for veterinary examinations where these are necessary to support ongoing prescribing decisions.
