Our modern and spacious practice was first established in Finchley was by Dr Andrew Monchar BSc(Hons) BVetMed OV[OCQ(V)-CA] MRCVS in 2017, and has a fantastic reputation in the community for excellent pet care and service, as well as being a training practice. Our new practice will open in Alexandra Palace in Summer 2024. We are a three vet practice and have two nurses, a student nurse, two veterinary care assistants and four receptionists. We also host EMS students.
Two By Two Veterinary Centre is an independent veterinary practice in Finchley with modern and spacious facilities. We are a busy small animal veterinary practice and also see small furries and exotics. Our new practice will open in Alexandra Palace in Summer 2024 therefore we have the following immediate vacancies.
Veterinary Surgeon (upto £42,000 to £60,000 dependent on skills and experience)
We are seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon with 3+ years of UK experience to join our team. You will be confident both consulting and performing surgeries. Knowledge of exotics is beneficial. Confident sole charge. There is an opportunity for an experienced candidate to be part of the senior leadership team.
We are open 8:30am-7pm. Flexible working available, please advise your preferred days/hours.
We are closed on Saturdays and open Sundays 10am-2pm.

Veterinary Care Assistant (£23,000-£25,000 dependent on qualifications and experience)
The role of a Veterinary Care Assistant is critical to the smooth running of the busy small animal practice. This is a practical hands-on role where you will provide a high standard of pet care and wellbeing and support the veterinary team. You will be responsible for caring for animals and providing a hygienic environment. You will also provide updates to clients on in-patients via our app, and undertake some reception duties as part of the role.
Person Specification You will have experience in working in a veterinary setting or animal welfare or rescue centre. You will have or be working towards a qualification in animal care. We are seeking someone with a positive and helpful attitude with good communication skills. And of course, you must love working with animals. You will also be friendly and polite as you will interact with the team, suppliers and clients. Working in an independent practice means that you will be working as part of a fantastic team where self-starters will thrive in the role. An excellent attendance and punctuality record is critical.
